A 77 metre expedition superyacht with two helicopters, a Triton submersible and 40 days of autonomy. Antarctica, the Arctic, Patagonia, French Polynesia: wherever you want to go.
La Datcha is a 77 metre expedition superyacht, ice class and IMO Polar Coded, built by Damen Yachting in 2020 with EYOS Expeditions as design partner. She carries two helicopters in an enclosed hangar, a Triton submersible rated to 500 metres, a dive centre with a decompression chamber, and fuel and provisions for up to 40 days away from any port.
She was built to go anywhere, and she has. Since 2020 she has wintered in the Seychelles and the Maldives, skied first descents in Kamchatka, anchored in Antarctica, cruised Mexico's Pacific coast and French Polynesia, and in July 2026 worked the fjords of Svalbard north of 80 degrees.
Twelve guests in six staterooms. One private charter, planned and operated by EYOS Expeditions.
Up to twelve guests who want an expedition ship to themselves, on their own dates and their own route.
La Datcha was designed for one job: to take a small group to the most remote places on earth and keep them there in comfort for as long as they want to stay. Two helicopters, a submersible, an expedition fleet and 40 days of fuel and provisions make her a self-contained base wherever she drops anchor.
"I love La Datcha because she was born to explore; it is her core purpose and one that is close to our hearts. ... Her capabilities are off the charts, which is ironic because that's exactly where she was designed to be." Rob McCallum, EYOS Co-founder

There is no fixed itinerary. EYOS plans each charter around where you want to be and when that place is at its best.
In the austral summer: the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia and the Ross Sea. In the northern summer: Svalbard, Norway, Iceland and Greenland, with heli-skiing across Iceland's peninsulas and fjords in spring. In Patagonia, heli-skiing on the volcanoes above the Chilean fjords. And between the poles, the warm water: French Polynesia, the Galápagos, Indonesia and the Seychelles.
She has already skied untouched peaks in Kamchatka, anchored in Antarctica's Mikkelsen Harbour, and crossed north of 80 degrees off Svalbard. Where could she take you?

Part of Damen Yachting's Xplorer series, La Datcha was delivered in 2020. As design partner with Damen Yachting and Azure Naval Architects, EYOS was involved from the first lines drawn on paper and contributed more than 150 design criteria from decades of expedition experience.
Each one is practical. Bridge wings extend over the side of the hull for better visibility during ice navigation. A forward observation lounge and deck put guests at the bow for polar bears and bow-riding dolphins. Fuel and provisions for up to 40 days allow extended expeditions well away from any supporting port.

A helideck and an enclosed hangar carry two helicopters. The second is what makes remote heli-skiing possible, with one flying guests and one standing by. EYOS calls La Datcha the ultimate choice for heli-ski expeditions.
In Kamchatka her ski guide reported: "Nobody has ever skied these areas before." The same helicopters scout ice ahead of the ship and put guests on ridgelines and glaciers no tender can reach.
Helicopter operations are an optional package, subject to weather and permits.

La Datcha carries a Triton 1650 submersible. It seats three, is depth rated to 500 metres and launches from her own hangar. A full dive centre with a decompression chamber supports diving from the ship.
The submersible is an optional package, subject to conditions and permits.

The tender garage carries a VIP tender and rescue boat, a dive support tender, a beach lander tender, two expedition ribs, four waverunners and two snowscooters.
In the ice, the ribs take guests ashore among penguins and into channels too narrow for the ship. In the tropics, the stern opens onto a swim platform with Seabobs, kayaks, paddleboards and a water slide.

Six staterooms, each with a walk-in dressing room and an en-suite bathroom, accommodate twelve guests. The interiors are by Vasiliy Shprits Studio.
On the lower deck there is a Turkish bath and sauna, a massage studio and a gym. On the upper decks, guests watch from the rail, the forward observation lounge or the Jacuzzi.

EYOS Expeditions plans and operates expedition yacht charters in the most remote regions on earth. They were La Datcha's design partner, and they plan and run her expeditions: routing, permits, expedition leaders and guides, and the helicopter, submersible and dive operations.
EYOS was co-founded by Rob McCallum and Tim Soper and is led by CEO Ben Lyons. In Lyons's words, La Datcha is "the direct result of our expertise working on so many different vessels and yachts of all types over the years."
Once dates are aligned for the yacht and any flight charter, EYOS takes the charter to contract directly.

From USD 750,000 per week plus expenses. An Advance Provisioning Allowance, traditionally 30 to 35% of the charter rate, covers running costs such as fuel, food and beverages, port fees and local expenses. VAT on the charter fee may apply. Helicopter and submersible packages are optional and quoted separately.

Guests. Up to 12, in six staterooms.
How a charter comes together. Share your dates, group size and where you want to go. EYOS confirms availability for the yacht and any flight charter together. Once dates align, EYOS takes the charter to contract directly.

Settle dates and the helicopter package first. Antarctic availability is limited and fills a season ahead, and the helicopters are what let you land and ski where no tender can reach.
For the family or group who has done the expedition cruise and wants the whole ship next time, anywhere on the map. EYOS helped design her and runs every charter.
